Links 2004 (Xbox, 2003)

Bidding on the golf game that EGameUniverse was selling was a thrill. It was the first item I won. It was also the first item that got lost in the mail due to shipping problems.

Talk about a bummer. EGameUniverse was a great customer service connection, helping me replace it with a comparably priced game, which i chose for my son. He loves it, by the way.

The anticipation of receiving the game made me continue to pursue finding the Links game until I found one. My husband and I are 100% satisfied with the graphics, spend time playing it in the winter months, and look forward to playing golf at a course again in the spring.

There's nothing I dislike about it, and look forward to seeing what else I can bid and win on Ebay in the future. We are happy with the products represented through Ebay and may someday even become sellers, when our kids give us the time. :)

If you're tired of the shockingly nonchallenging, nonengaging, and overly "arcadish" gameplay of the Tiger Woods series, then by all means pick up Links 2004 for the Xbox consoles. The title has just recently becomes backwards compatible for the 360, and its graphics have never looked so good in 720p (however, it's displayed in 4:3, a bummer for HDTV owners). The gameplay is superbly sim in nature, especially in the advanced setting (my only gripe here is that you're unable to change difficulty levels once you're started a player profile). Best of all, the game can be picked up for next to nothing (I obtained my copy, shipping inclusive, for the price of a rental!). In my opinion (and many of my fellow gamers echo this), Links 2004 is still the best console golf game on the planet!

Links 2004 is an often overlooked game for the original XBOX. Forget EA & Tiger Woods Golf, Links 2004 is a superior game. With life-like graphics & sounds, XBOX live support, and downloadable courses; Links is the best choice for golfing gamers. Cuurently, Links 2004 is not compatible with the XBOX 360, but hopefully that will change soon. Hey, how about a sequel?

This game has great graphics. The courses look like you are watching golf on TV. Real-time swing makes it feel like you are actually out on the course. I highly recomend this game if you are looking for a golf game.

It arrived in good condition. I did not know that it was a 2004. My grandson pointed that out. He seemed happy with it though.

Great game, Easy to play but challenging in the skills, keeps your interest. Nice courses to visit and realistic action

This game is great. everything you'd expect from a golf game and more. my only complaint is that they should have spent a little more time with cleaning up the comentary. you can clearly tell that the comentary is spliced together. It also gets quite repedative but if you can get past that, you'll enjoy this game. you get to use real clubs like Ping, Cobra, Taylormade, ect, and you can unlock shaft types, steel to graphite, soft, med, or stiff flex. Its just a great game all together, i can't put the controler down.

I like the game play and how you control everything and all the shots, and the camera angels are good and the graphics are surprisingly good for being an original xbox game, all in all it is the only golf game that I like.

This is the best Golf Game on the market bar none!! Being a golfer, I enjoy playing nice courses and having fun doing it; as far as a video game goes, this game offers great courses and actual plaing conditions. I've played Tiger Woods many times and have enjoyed it, but Tiger Woods golf doesn't even come close to the fun I had playing Links Golf.

At first I thought this game would be another boring golf game, but it was a pleasant surprise. Links 2004 has some really fun and challenging golf courses and very good graphics. Great bargain for under $5 (used) on ebay.

Awesome game! It is actually responsibly for me learning to play the game for real which by the way is much harder than the video game!!! Excellant graphics and very easy to use controls. I've played the recently released EA Tiger woods titles and liked Links better. If they Improved the create a player section of the game in a second release it would be no contest and yet It is still the best golf game out there!!!!!!!!!
