A Good Quality Book -- Plenty of Pictures

Being a maritime researcher and author, I always try to acquire new maritime books as they become available. I had kept an eye on this one for a while, and finally decided to pick up a copy here on Ebay.
The purchase was worth it. The book is published by W.W. Norton, and is of excellent quality, with high-gloss pages. There are a lot of pictures, some commonly seen and some quite rarely seen. As for the text, there was nothing really stunning revealed therein, and I have noticed a few minor errors, but nothing that would make me regret the purchase. I also found some of the organization of the book to be a bit confusing. However, there is some nice information on some of the more often forgotten liners.
It's more of a visual experience than a "reader," but even so, I enjoyed the book very much.
