It has been over a month since I ordered the book. I still have not received it. The seller will not email me back. And, I was still charged for the book! Pretty much, this has been the WORST service I have EVER received through Ebay.

Average as a textbook, and just okay as a reference book. Too many proofs are left as exercises for me to go to this text rather than some of my other books on the subject. It does a good job of covering more of the advanced linear algebra topics that most undergraduate texts omit.

PeedaI can't like the book if I never recieved it!!!! Do not buy, not a safe purchase!!!! Beware. I had to buy the book from my campus and I am still waiting to get my money back from half.com. Otherwise, the book is very abstract and I don't really like it. I had intro to linear algebra and had the book "Linear Algebra and Its Applications" (3rd Edition) by David C. Lay and it is ten times better. Lay's book is very straight forward and they don't include a lot of garbage. You will learn something from the latter book but not the first.

) This is a very extremly difficult book. One must be above average intelligence in order to be able to comprenhend all of the material. The author skpis several basic steps that would be better for students to understand the already difficult problems.And the proofs, oh my god, they are extremely difficult specially since the author doesn't quite explian how to go about them.If you like to be challenged; this is the book for you. Otherwise stay away from it.
