Lincoln by Edgar Box (1985)

I bought this book for a dear friend who has read many of Mr. Vidal's books. He was very pleased to receive yet another of this multifacted individual's writings. From a prominent family, Mr. Vidal has long enjoyed success in several distinct fields. The book itself looks just like new, so my bargain was impressive. I have not read any of his books myself (yet!), but do recall having enjoyed a Hollywood Bowl concert a few years ago for which he was the master of ceremonies. May this talented man live to be 100!
