Movie Description IN LIKE FLINT, a sequel to the popular OUR MAN FLINT, features James Coburn in a reprise of his role as the dashing title character. In this amusing parody of spy films, the American president has been replaced by an actor ("An actor? As president?"), and a group of beautiful and powerful renegade women, led by the lovely Helena (Hanna Landy), plot to take over the world. They wish to create a race of female soldiers by brainwashing women with a device planted inside beauty salon hair dryers. Flint, the super secret agent and supreme ladies' man, really has his hands full trying to foil their plot. (Austin Powers would be proud.)

Fox Studios attempted to make Cinemascope, a widescreen format, the standard for American movies. IN LIKE FLINT and CAPRICE, also released in 1967, were the last Fox films shot with original CinemaScope lenses before adapting to Panavision.
Yvonne Craig, who plays Natasha the ballerina--but is better known as Batgirl and for dating Elvis Presley--actually moved to Los Angeles to become a dancer after she completed training at Denham's Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo.
This was one of director Gordon Douglas' most accomplished features. The journeyman filmmaker who helmed such diverse works as ROBIN AND THE 7 HOODS, THEM!, and VIVA KNIEVEL has said, "Don't try to watch all the films I've directed; would turn you off movies forever."
The character of Austin Powers would proclaim that IN LIKE FLINT is his favorite film.
Editorial Reviews "...Coburn proves a playboy superspy doesn't need a posh British accent to save the day with style..." Entertainment Weekly - Benjamin Svetkey (07/19/2002)
