Best rock album ever
This album features 7 tracks of classic British hard rock/heavy metal. Diamond Head paved the way for bands like Metallica and Megadeth with this album, and upon listening to it, one can clearly hear why. Sean Harris' soaring Robert Plant-esque vocals and Brian Tatler's Schenker meets Blackmore meets Iommi-like riffing and soloing earned this band critical acclaim, so much to the point that rock scribe Geoff Barton once stated that there are more good riffs in the average DH song than there are on the first 4 Black Sabbath records, and Iron Maiden's own Steve Harris thought the band were going to fill the void that Led Zeppelin left. Sadly, the band had suffered some bad business choices, forcing them to lose steam and break up for the first time in 1985, stunting their success.
