This book is similar in its scope to America's Providential History. Both books are valuable resources. I found several facts and lots of things to turn over in my mind as a result of reading this book. This book is written at an adult/highschool level but can be comprehended by school-age children if read to them and difficult passages explained.

This book is a great history resource. If you want your kids to know what America is really about(or was really about), this book is for you. If you homeschool, you need this book. If you don't homeschool, then you really need this book to fill in the blanks left by the public school system.

) This famous book reveals early US History through a biblical filter. Thus, it is one of the most fascinating books you'll ever read, as it reveals the hidden "why" of history. My only regrets are that 1) Every US schoolkid can't read it, and 2) The authors weren't able to finish the whole series. Learn America's very very special history: you'll never see this interpretation in a college. Yes, enjoy the Americanized "First Chronicles".
