This is another excellent project by Neal Morse. Outstanding musical parts with a direct christian theme. No Mickey Mouse music here with the endless journey Neal sends his listeners on. Lifeline is not quite as heavy as some of his other projects but well worth the purchase.
I really think he is the best christian rock artist out at this time and wish he would tour with a band. His music is deep and full of dynamics with top knotch musicians playing at levels of most current bands can only dream of. His music is truely a blessing for those of us that cannot deal with cookie cutter Nasville Christian scene bands or typical west coast bands.
Lifeline as well as all of Neal's work is art for christian rock musicans that need more than 2 or 3 chord pop or another screamo sound. Check out his stuff and you will be happy you did. You don't need to be a musician to enjoy this mans work.
