Mandatory Viewing

This documentary is an absolute must see for anyone interested in Jamaican culture and/or the far reaching effects of modern economic policies on the developed and developing world. Although specifically about Jamaica, the information contained herein applies to all the various nations in the world have been systematically and economically oppressed by the World Bank, the who IMF, and other nefarious organizations of a similar ilk.
Less than half of the story has ever been told when it comes the impoverished and under-educated citizens of Jamaica, the Caribbean, Africa, Central and South America, and other under developed European, Scandanavian, Middle Eastern, Asian, Oceanic, Malaysian, and Indonesian countries of the world.
I may not agree with every aspect of this documentary, or the implicit view points of many of the people interviewed (for example the rather forgiving interview with former Jamaican prime minister Manley), but opinions aside, Life and Debt is an incredible viewing experience.
