Life by Ricky Martin (CD, Oct-2005, Columbia USA)

The album is great I enjoy it from begining to end. It delivers a great mix of sounds, very catchy songs, and a couple of great balads.You could really hear the sounds of India on " I Don't Care". Some faves are "I Don't Care", "It's Alright" & "Save the Dance" with The Hossam Ramzy Egyptian String Ensemble and few others. This is an Album of a more Mature Ricky if you are a Ricky fan or a Pop fan you should get this Album you will not be dissapointed

From the initial release of "Life" most reviews I had read were negative and this caused me to also stay away from purchasing this cd. After playing "Ricky Martin" and realizing that each time I play it - I like it that much better I thought I would give "Life" a shot. I wasn't expecting as much in it as in other albums but was pleasantly surprised. The tracks seem to be well laid out and clear with Ricky's vocals and music beats strong and enjoyable. While this disc may not measure up to "Ricky Martin" it is still one that should have been given better reviews and could have had some singles that would have done very well.

I bought this CD because I really like Ricky Martins style. My favorite song is with Daddy Yankee, Drop it on me.

It had a few good songs, some others were just OK. I expected a few more good songs from Ricky, but I guess this CD was a different style.
