A love fest by the author for the rock industry, diluted heavily by homage to himself. This read would have been a lot more interesting had more photos of the gods of rock been included rather than the dozen or so that actually are. If you adore heavy metal and bands such as Guns 'N Roses, KISS, etc., you'll enjoy this book. Even though it was written only in 2006, a lot of the information seems really dated because the bands themselves had their heyday two decades ago.

I bought this book for my son for Xmas so it hasn't been read yet. I heard the interview with Lonn Friend on Alice Cooper's radio show and went looking for the book. If Alice Cooper says it good, it must be good!

Never got the book, won't reply to e-mails, keeps referring me to his "website" and it won't let you contact customer service. Bad seller, shut him down, complaint filed with PAYPAL.
