This is a very good movie about the life of Emile Zola, winner of Best Picture in 1937. Emile Zola was a Frenchman living in the later 19th century, and had a talent for writing about the abuses of society. Think Charles Dickens. At one point he took on the entire French Army over it's covering up an incident involving a wrongful conviction of a Captain.
