Lexmark X1270 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Okay folks, I actually bought this model for a senior citizen who was just at age 69 getting into computers. I helped him bring his new Dell to life, and he is a very sharp person for that age; I sent him some scans of past cars I've had from my trusty Lexmark Trio X1185, and he was curious as to how I did that...so..I ordered him the X1270, and showed him all of the how-to's, from scanning anything from a color or black and white picture/document, to how easy it is to use to scan simple things such as coins on the flatbed scanning screen, to faxing documents. He now loves it, and has added a new facet to his explorations in PC-land, for a mere $30 plus ink. As with cameras, I love to teach, and taught my late 89ish parents finally, how to send e-mails and get some joy out of computers, photography, e-mails, searching for news, and yes, printing things. Take the hint, and do the same!

The Lexmark X1270 All-In-One InkJet Printer is worth the money. This is a good cheap All-In-One. If you are on a budget and need an All-In-One, then this one is for you. However, if you have a lot of money to spend, then you wouldn't want to waste your time or money on this because there are much better ones out there.

I like its ability to Print, Copy, Fax fairly simple. The price of ink is very high. The quality is above average.

Great product, just as described, great print options. Does use a lot of ink, and I can't get the scanner & copier to work. But still a great printer.

Excellent printer that not only does everything you want to do but is very easy to use. Everything from ink replacement to paper installation is easy for even the non-expert user. Good clear printing and the copy function easily produces multiple copies.

I bought the Lexmark X1270 printer and have been fairly happy with it. The big down side is the cost of replacement ink.

This is the first Lexmark printer I owned and was sorta dissapointed with its performance. It never gave me any problems, however, the prints that it produced could have been better. I noticed that I kept having to adjust the print settings for it to produce a bolder and more colorful quality print. I've previously owned an HP all-in-one printer that produced much higher quality prints and never really had to adjust the properties at all. All of the Lexmark's features (scanner,copier,printer) worked just fine, its just the quality of the prints that could use some improvement. If you're looking for an average printer for average everyday uses, this Lexmark would be just fine, but if you're lookin' to print quality photos or prints with bold color I wouldn't recommend this printer.

i love this brand. I have one at home. I thought one woould be great in my classroom. I will still by Lexmark, only a new one. though.

I bought this product because my other one that I had broke. The one that I got off of ebay is working great. I have nothing bad to say about this product.

this item arrived on time and in perfect condition, it works great I bought this item because I needed one to print information and I thought this printer was a steal and it was!!!

Super fast shipping. I haven't needed to replace my other catridge yet, but if this one works well, I'll be ordering from these people again.
