letter from an unknown woman
This film is a masterpiece! Perfectly casted with Louis Jordan and Joan Fontaine. The music that ebbs and flows throughout the movie is pure genius and is as critical to the movie as the dialogue. This film is occasionally seen in small town film festivals and was once compared to a Renoir painting by a celebrated film critic. Over the years, this film has gotten lost and, as with the film "Ten North Frederick," should be brought to the public's attention once again.
