Mel Gibson takes action to another level!

This is the quintissetial cop buddy flick that's full of action. Not like any of the other movies in it's genre at the time, Lethal Weapon is about a two cops that are worlds apart. Mel Gibson plays Martin Riggs, an over the edge kinda guy who is also very venerable due to circumstances in his life like his wife dying.

Martin is absolutely certifiable and so you gotta love him! He's defintely the man in this flick... he's outta control, he a martial arts dude and he does what he has to to get the bad guy.

The plot of the flick is your basic bad guy does bad thing and good guy is out to get him, but that doesn't matter all that much because we're having a whole bunch of fun watching Riggs just kick everyones butt.

But you all don't need me to tell you this because you've all probably seen this movie a thousand times already and I guess it goes without saying that the series continued for three films after this (as of 2001).

    All in all...Some serious action!
