after growing up in the 60's and early 70's the Beatles were my favorite group. I started collecting every Beatles album as it was released. my sister also bought them so as a kid I recorder hers never realizing that by not opening mine that someday they would all be worth a whole lot of $$$$$. I haven't had a turntable for over 30 years so mine are still sealed and mint. but I wanted all the Beatles albums so I could hear them since mt reel to reel tapes and cassettes wore out. I BOUGHT ALL OF THE BEATLES ON CD AND THIS WAS THE LAST ONE I NEEDED TO BUY. IT WAS ONLY 2 DAYS OLD WHEN I BOUGHT THIS FROM A NICE YOUNG MAN WHO BOUGHT IT DOWNLOADED IT TO HIS IPOD AND RESOLD IT. THANKS A MILLION
What does one say after all these years and I still get so much pleasure from this work of art. Everything just flows with simplicity and fluidness filled with memories and feelings so hard to describe. The beatles are so much apart of most of our lives I just had to write a review. Well, not really a review but a testament of sorts. I don't think I would be the musician I am today if it weren't for those four guys... This is by fay my favorite album and sadly their last one all together. It's melancholy and romantic, wild and seamless. I even love the way Paul goes flat on the end of "The Long and Winding Road". This album is so great that when it first came out I had a hard time relating with it and then it grew on me and grew and grew and grew and now it's part of my limbs. Rich Lodato
I love this album. It almost seems like a farewell album for the Beatles. A lot of talk about always having positive feelings, and being apart. I own all the Beatles albums, and this is definitely one of my favorites. Especially good with age. Love it!
Grew up with this album. Bought it on vinyl first as an LP album. Then made my own 8 track copy. Next came cassette, now on CD. This is the real Let It Be, not the "New" naked version. I always thought of this as the last Beatles album. The apple on my LP was Red, not Green. Like the band had become ripe. It has the "album versions" of Get Back and Let It Be, which are just a little different than he singles versions, but enough different that a fan or avid listener will notice. Yeah I like it. "On behalf of the group and myself I hope we passed the audition."
What can you say. It's the Beatles man!!! One of the last albums they made (next to last) The problems within the band were beginning to show. Yoko Ono was causing problems in the studio and Paul was still insisting on a management change. He wanted to get rid of Kline. But a great record
A few years ago my record collection was ruined in a flood. By going on ebay I can replace those records for a fraction of what it costs to buy them at a record store. I feel like I am putting my life back together, finally, by replacing the music that was lost to me.
Item was exactly as described and well-priced. Seller shipped item quickly and it arrived in plenty of time for Christmas (it was a gift). An all around pleasant purchase.
