For those who like these old San Fransisco art punk bands here's the ~ dicography of the Sleepers, include their superb 1st 7" from 1978, a 7" from 1980 , the album from the same year (or 1981?) and 2-3 more tracks. The disc start with classic old punk rock and evolue in a somewhat more atmospheric introverted (cold)wave with Michael Belfert's evasive guitar riffs. Ricky Williams (RIP) sound really hypnotic sometimes and is voice have some Bowie's remnant.Belfert played as well in a early incarnation of TUXEDOMOON (during their best phase if you ask me) and Ricky Williams named FLIPPER (the band) and served in the wonderfull TOILING MIDGETS.Beautifull ,obscure classic, absolutely brilliant music from a cult band (Ahhh these bands from SF underground scene era 1978-80). For true connoisseur ONLY.
