Excellent guided tour of the latter work of a master
Cohen is a subject that quickly shows the limitations of many journalists.
This documentary does not embarrass itself. It really does rise to meet the level of discourse that the material warrants. It traces rather digestably the lyric, sonic and philosophical twists, turns and constants of Leonard Cohen's catalogues second half. It's an enjoyable DVD, highly entertaining, informative but not stuffy. It's good for long-time fans or initiates alike.
