Wow if you havent seen this movie then run down to the family video and pick one up! Great flick about a hitman who ends up with a little girl of a murdered family. Natile Portmans first good movie, and Jean Reno's first break. Must See Movie!

I Bought this movie knowing that every time it is on TV, I will watch it. Its one of those movies you can watch over and over again.

I loved everything. I will remember those scenes and lines for the rest of my life. If anyone has a chance to watch this movie they definitely should. Especially the uncut version that has everything in it.

I really don't know what to say about this movie. It's truly a work of art, almost like an abstract painting in the way that the movie is very simple and allows the viewer to interpret it as he sees fit.
In Hollywood today you see a lot of movies with pointless explosions and fight scenes where their way of capturing your attention is by pulling out crazy new martial arts choreography to wow the audience. For all who have seen this movie, you realize that the action scenes are very simple, yet very well placed and incredibly ingenious. Leon takes care of his victims with precision and does not waste time with unnecessary monologues before finishing his victims. He is very blunt about his work.
I could go on, but I would end up spoiling too much. To conclude, Jean Reno was born to play the role of Leon in this movie, Gary Oldman delivers a stunning performance as well, and Natalie Portman shows off her promising acting that has led her to the point where she is today.

i am not a big movie buff and don't like going to the movies often, but i absolutly LOVE this movie. the symbolism in the background is great. the acting is first notch and gary oldman stole the show to me. rumor has it that the little girl in the movie cried in her scene with gary oldman because his character literally scared her into tears. i absolutly love the dark humor, enough action to keep you glued to the tv but not overdone and careful sensitivity that makes you love the professional hit man.

if you have seen the original version, this version is a tad different. one of the slight differences i think makes the movie worth buying. i absolutly loved it and fell over laughing. this movie has the ability to make you adore the murdering main character and feel sorry for him at the same time. this is definately a must see.

This movie has a great story line and could very well be based on actual events.
I had seen the censored US version two times before and this was the complete unedited version. It's such a shame that we are such prudes that Big Brother feels it necessary to monitor what we can view in this "land of the free" (that's a joke, but the joke is on us).

The bestmovie i have seen in a long time. it has a great story line and the actin is far from anything you will see in any movies these days.

This item has no sound on the first disc and is defective, do not buy it! I love this movie very much but was sad when i received it and the entire first disc had no sound except for the menu screen. The second disk has sound but the whole movie on the first disk does not have any sound at all. Do not buy this product.

First and foremost, this movie contains Natalie Portman's acting debut and, personally, I believe it is by far her BEST performance ever! She/her character will draw you to tears with the raw emotion captured in this film. Natalie aside, this is definitely a "shoot'em up movie" that you can watch with your girlfriend! The story is compelling and the ending is...well...let's not ruin anything! Of course there are the typical "holes" and inconsistencies that occur with such films, but overall this movie is thoroughly enjoyable. I would, however, STRONGLY recommend the RATED R VERSION of the film and NOT the unrated / Director's cut version (as the director went perhaps too far with some scenes that, personally, ruined the film for me).
