Legendary - Most Underrated Game of the Year

I read many reveiws in magazines about how terrible this game was. It was getting scores like 2 out of 10 and 2.5 out of 10. Well, I played the demo, loved it so I bought it. Well, now I want to tell you about why all those professional reveiwers are wrong.
I think the games first mistake in the reveiwer's eyes was that this game is original. It's not your stereotypical shooter like Call of Duty or Halo. They actually came up with their own idea. Apparently, cookie cutter games are in.
The story follows a guy who was tricked into opening Pandora's Box, releasing mythical creatures like werewolves and griffins into the world. You are racing the guy who tricked you to Pandora's Box so you can send those creatures back...to um...where ever they came from. The box? Whatever.
When you kill one of these creatures, they leave behind animus, wich you can absord. It can then be used to heal yourself, or as a weapon against the creatures. The gameplay is smooth and filled with action and variety. You unload guns at people and creatures, battle minotaurs, fire rockets at griffins and even fight a kraken. Jack Sparrow ain't got nothin' on this crazy guy launching rockets at a kraken. Maybe Captain Sparrow should have tried this technique.
The only bad thing I have to say about the game is this. Why does every door in the world have an electronic keypad lock to hack? This game goes overboard. I mean, a door to a closet has an electronic lock. What are they hiding in there?
Oh, and one piece of advice. Watch out for the flying soda machine spitting cans of soda at you.
