Legally Blonde (DVD, 2001, Valentine Faceplate; Checkpoint; Sensormatic; Widescreen)

I LOVE this movie. Reese Witherspoon is devine in this blonde movie. I do not reccomend this movie for kids under about 13 though, because there is sexual language. It is funny at times, poignant at times and just a good story. If you are looking to just simply be entertained with no real brain power used this is for you.

When this came out I never laughed, cried, or yelled so loud while watching a movie in a long time. For being such a rich and spoiled girl, she was so down to earth, you couldn't help liking and rooting for her. She showed you no matter what, you can and do have the power to get where you want to be, if you want. She made you feel that you, yourself have a chance in the world today. We need more movies that make you feel that you, yourself are worth something in this put down world today.

I don't really care for chick flicks. Most have the same basic plot and same girl jokes which never felt real or very funny. With Legally Blonde I am not sure if it is the funny and smart script or Reese Witherspoon's charm and natural comedic talent but this movie had me laughing out loud.

A stereotypical California sorority girl with the perfect life is dumped by her "perfect" boyfriend because he thinks she is not "serious" enough. He wants a political career and needs to "marry a Jackie not a Marylin". To prove him wrong she gets into Harvard where he is starting law school. This is a story of self discovery and the flighty but smart girl realizes she does not need a man to validate her.

Great movie - even guys can appreciate how funny it is - and this is a great date or a girl's night-in movie.

I had seen it before and I did't have it, so when I was given Legally Blonde 2, I had to have the first one and I got it on e-Bay.

My wife gives this one and LB2 two very big thumbs up.
One of them female type movies. I will admit, I had a few laughs during it as well!

The movie is extremely funny! I've watched it so many times and still don't get bored. Luke Wilson and Reese Witherspoon are great together. Your guaranteed to love it. The 2nd one is not as good.

I enjoy this movie very much. Its funny, without going into R rated scenes, and still manages to have you twitching your eyebrow. It's definitly more of a woman's movie, but men might enjoy watching it aswell with all the outfits worn. I bought it because I wanted a movie that would make me laugh, and this movie had me laughing all the way through it.

this movie could easily be mistaken for anotherdumb blonde flick where the next scene was even more predicable than the present one. but, it's actually very entertaining--utilizing many sharp one-line zingers. finally, Reese perfectly played the "dumb blonde" role so effortlessly it's almost art....

I love this movie because it's so cute!! Reese Witherspoon is this all pink fashion kinda girl that gets into Harvard's Law school! It's really adorable!

surprisingly cleaver and very enjoyable. some corn but strong enough to push through it. Don't expect surprises but sit back and smile.

The title on the product was a little misleading, it didn't turn out to be the copy that it said it was. But service was great and shipping was very fast!

Absolutely loved this light-hearted, funny, quirky, and fun movie!! Reese plays a ditzy, but smart character (if that makes any sense...ha ha)...and it has a happy ending.

This movie is about a princess like girl that is in college and likes to have fun and is very excited about a popular guy who is well known an wealthy. She wants to marry him but apparently he is not in the same frame of mind as her so she finds herself having to change her major to law to show him she is not just a dumb blonde. hope this helps

Reese Witherspoon is a beautiful blonde. She is an all-around great actress. I really enjoy just about everything I've ever seen her in.

Excellent movie for any high school student (female especially) or anyone who wants to pursuit LAW study. It's also very entertainingly motivational for people who are currently studying LAW.

I remember seeing this when it first came out in theaters and I thought it was cute and funny. It's been a few years since I had seen it, so the DVD was a fun reminder that ditsy blondes can be entertaining. The plot is a predictable one (as are most movies of this genre), but it's still a light-hearted, funny movie for those times when you just want to get lost in another reality.
