| Movie Description A sophisticated comedy starring Redford as an assistant district attorney who teams up with an eccentric lawyer played by Winger, to defend a girl accused of theft. While gathering evidence throughout Manhattan they get drawn into New York's glittering art world and seedy underworld, targeted for murder by a cutthroat killer.

The film concerns the high-finance world of New York's classier art galleries. Much of the art work that appears in the film is real, and includes pieces by Picasso, Miro, Warhol, deKooning, Dubuffet, and Calder. The associate producer, Arnold Glimcher, was the owner of a New York art gallery before he produced the film. He later went on to direct "The Mambo Kings" (1992). Chelsea Deardon's performance art piece was conceived by Daryl Hannah, Arnold Glimcher, and Lin Hixon. Pyrotechnics in the arson and fire scenes were provided by Boss Film.
