This book really made me look at my life, and how I was living it. I made some important decisions about my life during and after reading this book. Book really tracks, and parallels alot of what is in the Book of Revelation. This book is a must read for any of you who are "On the fence" about religion, and your relationship with Jesus Christ.

Soft or hard cover, this book is great! It was recommended to me and it turned out to be one of the best books I have ever read. You do not have to be a Christian to appreciate this book, though it does make the experience more rich if you are. It is suspensful from beginning to end.

The first book in the Left Behind Series, which is a fictional account of what could be a reality prophesized in the Book of Revelation in the Bible. The story is engaging and realistic giving you the feeling that it could happen. The authors start the story with a commercial airlines pilot whose family, except for his daughter, has disappeared into thin air. The phenomenon happened simultaneously throughout the world, giving the appearance to those "left behind" that God had taken the true believers to Heaven. The pilot is challenged to find the truth and the truth was in the Bible as the days following unfolded. Even though the book is a fictional story, the truth of the Bible from which it is based, strengthens your faith in the prophesy written in Revelation. This book is a thought provoking, very interesting read. I absolutely LOVE this book. I chose to buy this because I allowed someone to borrow the other copy that I had and it never got returned. I needed to replace it. I have the complete set of Left Behind books and I love every single one of them. If you are interested in a series of books that discusses the end days of our life according to the Bible, you should definitely read this. It is not for everyone, as it is a religious series, but I think that it is absolutely wonderful.

These books are a wonderful rendition of Revelations. They will keep you on the edge of your seat. I fully reccommend them.

I bought this book on a whim; no concrete reason. It is an amazing read. It is quick and easy if you want to skim it or it has deep relevant information if you really read it for information. I found myself going back again and again. It really spoke to me and because it answered many of the questions I have had, I have now bought several and given them to friends and family.

Again, get this book--it is great. Not a pie in the sky warm fuzzy, it is good reading.

I love that although it makes references to the bible and bible verses is not written in a preachy manner. once you read the first you'll yearn to read the next and the next. it catches your attention and if you look at whats going on in our time you can find similarities which will open questions to which the book gives you answers. You will wonder if it is fiction at all.... If you buy the first try to have the next one ready because you will want to continue reading the series.

I have read this book at least a dozen times. I read it so much I broke the spine on my original. I ordered this as a replacement so I can read it again.

This series of books written by Mr. Jenkins and Dr. LaHaye, is a 'life changing' series. I have have given out over 30 copies of this first book. It is important to me to have several copies on hand - just in case! If you have not read the series, I highly recommend it.

This is a facinating series of books that I was very pleased to win on an ebay auction recently. If you enjoy reading, this is a series of books that I would highly recommend. The story line captivates you immediately and causes you to race through each book so that you want to begin reading the next book. I have two friends that are avid readers and I will be loaning these books to them also. I am sure that they will be captivated by this story line as well.

I loved this book. It only took me about 4 days to finish. I couldn't put it down. I'm new to the cristian faith. This book made me glad that I'm accepting God in my life.

I'm thrilled at the fact that this book allows you to read along in your Bible ,in order to better help you understand the overall plot. Even if you do not believe in prophecy or the Bible, this book is quite suspenseful to the extreme. Once I picked it up I could not put it down.
There are several more books in the series, and they promise even more of an adrenaline rush, as more and more Darkness from Satan spreads over the world. The Bible predicts that only about 1/4 of the worlds remaining population, after the Rapture, will still be alive to see God establish his Millenial Kingdom. The Light of God however, still manages to appear when least expected. I appreciated being able to follow the main characters on an individual basis as well as on a group basis, as they each face their own dangerous and unbelieveable situations.
Lahaye and Jenkins have truly created a masterpiece series in which all emotions will be felt. And to top it all, they also have created a kids series, and an audio series, which will accomodate anyone.
Follow the main characters on their search for the truth in finding their salvation before they are eternally damned. You know what they say, "It's better late, than never."

This book is truly amazing! It is captivating, and I could not put it down. The characters are people that almost every reader can relate to. I highly recommend this book and this whole series.

Excellent seller. Wanted the series in hard cover. Have read and enjoyed the series before. As a Christian I have used these books to inspire people to come to know Jeasus Christ as their own personal Lord and Saviour. Doctronally they are off in several places, but the plan of salvation is right on throughout the series.

I have all hardback copies of this series except the first one. It's an excellent set and story line that I want to pass on to my grandchildren. It makes Revelation from the Bible come alive.
