Left Behind Trilogy (DVD, 2008, 4-Disc Set)

I have theses movies but there on video tape. So I was so glade to find them on DVD. Theses movie are great,and the message they bring are so profound. Great family film, sure wish they would do the rest of the books into a movie.

First off, this is not some big budget Hollywood extravaganza. Far from it! With that in perspective, all three "Left Behind" movies are extremely well done and worth owning. It doesn't matter if you are a Christian or not, as they are so well done, that owning them for the entertainment alone is worth every penny.

The movies are about the Biblical version of the "rapture" or the end of days as it were. Tim Lahaye has written these books and is very much involved in the movies as well. I have read the first three books, and look forward to reading the rest in the series. The main character is played by Kirk Cameron of "The Lost Boys" and "Full House" fame. There are very competent actors in the key roles, and that is what makes these great films.

All of these movies are just fine for kids, as long as an adult is around to answer questions. They are older movies now, and you can get them pretty inexpensively, and I highly recommend them.

I seen a movie similar to this movie when I was a child, which would be at least 30 years ago, however at that time I didn't understand it. Now that I've purchased the 2008, 4-disc set "Left Behind Trilogy"...I feel that I have add'ed an Awesome movie to my DVD collection. I rate it to the highest rating. My children, ages 10, 13 & 18, had a chance to see the movie with me and they understood it and enjoyed it right a long with my husband and I. AWESOME MOVIE...I did look up the scriptures and it is based on the Bible's scriptures. I can watch it over and over again... Thanks!!

I bought it for 2 reason 1- it was recommended to my by a memeber of my Small Group and 2- it has Kirk Cameron. The day I received it I began watching the 1st movie...wasn't expecting the following: I had to continue to see the Trilogy thru to the END! I spend the whole night watching it! This movie has caused me to think about my FAITH in such a positive way and I pray for those Left Behind. This is a must see for those who may have questions!

My husband and I enjoyed this Left Behind set very much, and would recommend it. I've seen the first movie before, and have wanted to see the other two so when I saw this trilogy series, I bought it. I'll be watching these again and again.

I read all of the books and enjoyed them very much. I have the first movie, and I'm looking to buy the rest that are available. It's a clean Christian plot without being wimpy. The pace is fast and holds your interest. That these events might actually come to pass makes it even more powerful. I think everyone should watch Left Behind.

I first watched Left Behind in church when I was a teenager and I loved it. It made you really think about the coming of Christ and how all the loyal people will be raised to Heaven, while the non-believers stayed and suffered on earth.

This movie is the best!!.All people most to view this trilogy. You most to buy!!!!!!I loved!!

This series takes you thru the rapture(what it might be like) the rise of the anti christ, tribulation,and many of the end times prophesy of the Bible a must see and some things are suprising shocking

I wanted this movie for witnessing.
I have watched it before, on VHS, the old style. The first DVD had the "reality", shaking, etc; not like the VHS! This is NOT a good witnessing tool. Non-Christians would be lost in the first five minutes of this.
However, the second the third movies are wonderful! Especially the "World at War". There are many similarities, going through the Bible in Daniel, and Revelation. They even have a black President! It makes you think...

Anyone who watches this film will be captivated by it. Now, Christians will understand the real meaning behind the film. That is what is most important. It is not to persuade but merely to give facts in a fictional scenerio format.
I did not like the third as much as the first. The second is the best! However, it all was very well done! A must see by anyone ages 15+. I would never let little ones watch... too many deep questions.
You will be left with questions and I seriously recommend asking a Pastor, however one who knows Scripture are few and far between. Don't let them pull fancy talk over your eyes. Scripture is what it is - Perfect Truth.

WOW! FASTEST SHIPPING ever! The DVDs are in great shape. The cases are as well. They look brand new. The packaging was secure. The movies are excellent. Everyone should watch them at least once occassionally. Even my 10 year old loved them. A must read for every believer and especially every non-believer.

I have the books and I wanted my teenage son to watch the movies with me. I want to see how they compare with the books. Any thing that supports the Christian beliefs if support.

the disc.looks like new.price was right it is a gift for one of our daughters,been looking for it. Thanks

A bit outdated but it really sets the tone for what you can expect. God will return for those who are true to his word and this movie is a reminder. Remember...its based upon the Bible...not just a made up story.

Although these movies do not follow the books very closely, they are still pack an undeniable message. Time is short and we all need to decide which side we are going to join. Do you plan to live in eternity sharing in all the blessing and rewards of Christ Jesus or do you plan to live in eternal damnation - that is, separated from Jesus and God forever, suffering in a hell that was not meant for humans.
The same cast members are present throughout all three installments, the action is intense, electrifying, and more!!! My grandkids and I love to watch them - and they are only 5 & 6yrs old. These movies are presented in a very viewer-friendly, layman understandable, and down-to-earth manner. While these movies do use some creative license, as a Christian, I was very pleased that great attention was placed on following God's word, the Holy Bible.
These movies are a quality addition to anyone's viewing collection and are highly recommended.

I am a developing Christian. I bought this series to get somewhat of a glimpse of the last days on earth. These movies make you think and with the way things are today in this world you need all the encouragement you can get. I love these movies very much and I just pray that more people will get these movies and be inspired to live their life for the one and only true GOD.

If you really liked the books the movies will disappoint you. They don’t follow the book much. 3rd movie is the best. 1st two are b-grade. It’s a shame..these could have been done much better

Awesome movies, I think everyone should view.....so much truth to what is going on in the world now!!!

I was disappointed it left out lots of what's in the book, but if it didn't, it'd be 20 DVDs! Also, I was hoping the tape left by the original pastor would be included in the set.

It's fast moving and clear about what's going on. I'm hoping to use it as an evangelical tool. We'll undoubtedly watch it many times.

The trailers on it tell of other Christian films. I just might look them up too. I'm so glad Christians are finally making family films and films with a message!

I love these movies because they are very ethical and are based on the Bible!!!! I decided to buy these because I wanted to stock up on good Christian movies :)!!!!

This is very compelling video , I originally read all 16 books. And I have to say it was so easy to see our place in this movie. Must see movie. This is the movie(book) you just can't put down.

I bought the series and donated it to our church,"FAITH Walk Christian Church"
To assist those undecided people to follow the Lord or mamon. The Left Behind series will most certainly help people to deside which side to join.
