Description
Setting out to do for co-op gaming what Counter-Strike did for team combat, Left 4 Dead is an ambitious survival horror game. Running on the Source engine, Left 4 Dead leaves four armed survivors of a world overrun with zombies, and they must fight their way out to escape the outbreak.


Designed for co-op play, the four players must work together to finish each stage of the game, lending each other artillery support, sharing ammo and rescuing each other when zombies are on top of them. In addition to the standard four players as humans, another four players can be amongst the masses of assaulting zombies, seeking to take down the other players. Zombie players might even find themselves become one of the four mutant "boss" zombies, who have unique powers that can be used to devastate, injure, tie up, mark and track, confuse, or even humiliate the gun-toting human survivors.

    ok i stand corrected about video games. LET THIS ONE ROT THE BRAIN!!! The graphics are phenomenol, the sound effects are great, and it totally helps relieve stress. Get this one today if you like a good challenge.

    I have always loved to play FPS's and i've never been big into the zombie killing games. But when I played Left 4 Dead for the first time, i was instantly hooked. Usually you may get bored of a game after a few months, but Left 4 Dead has always been in my disc tray ready to be played. Its graphics may not be as good as the computers but its almost equal. There may be no story line to this game and honestly I don't see why most people care. Its one of those rare games that is awesome that doesn't need a story to make it great. There used to be problems online with all of the blocking off areas so you were stuck in a spot, but those were fixed giving the online a big boost. They are also coming out with an update adding the final two levels to multiplay and a survival mode for free! Also there is new content coming out soon after the update. Overall Left 4 Dead is my favorite game and it earns a 10/10!
