Leave a Candle Burning by Lori Wick (2006)

I love the author and she has a Christian message and often quoting scripture and a little romance. love historical fiction with a feel good ending and the relationships that occur. They are very real characters in the stories and what they went through is very authentic. I also love the names that Lori Wick picks for her characters. If I was to have more children, there are at least 2 or 3 names I'd use. Thanks for the book. Ronda

My sister gave me book 1 of this triology. I didn't think I'd like the series but decided to read them anyway. I was mistaken, the books were great. You can't go wrong if you like to read.

I had completed the first two books in the Tucker Mills Trilogy and had to wait some time to find this one. It was a joy to buy on ebay and the book was in new condition and arrived in a timely fashion. All the work of Lori Wick is excellent and I'm glad to be able to make these purchases at such good prices.

I am really drawn to Lori Wick's style of writing. Her books are simple, yet profound, and I usually always gobble each book up in a day or two! I love the truths from God's Word, the way she weaves scripture into her stories, and the quality of characters that she uses. This book was especially meaningful because it brought two unlikely people --- who kept God central in their lives (albeit hard at times of struggling) and then ended up being blessed in the end. This particular book was signed by the author herself, so it ended up being a bonus! I bought it because it was the newest book in her line, and I hadn't read it before I purchased it off ebay.
