Good older style country music with a variety of songs.Worth a listen. Wouldn't have hurt if they had put more songs onto this cd.

I love this CD, it was the only one I didn't have and couldn't find of Jeff Bates. He is an awesome, talented singer, songwriter and all around down to earth person. Love the guy! He loves his fans, and never leaves a show without having a one on one meet and greet with them till the last one is gone. Great CD, so glad to have found it!

I am very pleased with the CD. It took s long time to get here, but I'm very pleased with it. It was well worth the money spent.

I really really like this cd. Most of it touches the heart in a very special way. The words to the love songs are intense, romantic, and sensual. The deep sound of his voice is very gentle, yet sexy. His strong voice puts you in the mind of such artists as Conway Twitty, Elvis, and Trace Adkins. The other songs are of the fun up-beat kind. I would highly rec. this cd and I for one will definately buy more as new ones are produced. I have a good feeling this guy is going to be around for a very long time. I do not think anyone who enjoys hearing a deep baritone sing would be disappointed. Definately sets the mood for a romantic evening.

I went to see Jeff Foxworthy at the NYS Fair and just thought Jeff Bates was another comedian opening for Foxworthy. I was surprised and honestly a little dissappointed to see a "country singer". I am not a huge country fan, I do enjoy some of the newer country artists. I just have to say that Jeff Bate's voice made me absolutely melt! I listened to his songs, and they are things we can relate too and in his song Long Slow Kisses , what woman wouldnt want her man to come home and talk that way to her, and Jeff's voice just makes chills go up my spine when I hear that song. I have purchased both of his CD's and hope that he makes it back to NY soon.

I will go out on a limb and say this is probably the best country CD I have ever owned. Correction - this is THE best CD I've ever owned.

Jeff Bates has his own unique style and charisma, and they both shine through like a beacon on this CD. Jeff has a way of touching emotions and making you stand back and say, "That's it! That's what I'm feeling, I just couldn't put it into words." Pure, raw emotion at it's best!

A keeper, this CD.

The first time i heard about Jeff Bates is when I heard the song "One second Chance" on GACTV. I ordered the CD "Leave the Lights On" and I really like it. He makes every song seem so real & true. I am going to order the other CD of Rainbow Man as soon as I can find it online.

I brought this cd because I heard one of the songs on the radio. After I recieved it and played it I loved all of the songs even better than the one that I brought it for. I let my wife listen to it and she fell in love with it too. The cd has a great mix of slow ballads and some fast songs. The lyrics in some of the songs are about things going on or have gone on in my life and I can relate to them so well. This is one of the best cd's I have gotten in a while. I really didn't know much about the artist but after hearing him I will be looking for more of his music.

I believe the title is about all that needs to be said... The CD is a masterpiece in country music. Absolutely wonderful. I'm caught on Jeff's music. His sheer talent, that voice that could melt steel, not to mention the catchy lyrics about things REAL people go through. It's AWESOME!!!

Love the song, leave the light on. I had never heard of Jeff Bates, it's such a shame that a talented artist...isn't getting mentioned that much on the radio.

Being from Mississippi, I too have had the opportunity to meet Jeff after his show several times. This guy is the real deal. He is so nice and genuine. His voice just makes the ladies feel like they're melting in their seats. His music fits his personality to a "T" Jeff bates is GOOD PEOPLE. Now that being said, all the songs on this cd are GREAT but I think the best ones are Good People,One Second Chance,The Woman He Walked On,Leave the Light On, and the one that I think will eventually find its way to the top of the charts is "That'll Get You Ten" This song starts off about a guy that is about to steal a bottle of liquor in a liquor store and the owner sees him and tells him basically that if he wants to go ahead and do that then he won't stop him but that'll get him "one" meaning a year in prison. Next scenario is about meeting a girl in a bar who makes it clear she wants to take the guy home with her and when they are walking out in the parking lot she points out her car and it has a high school sticker on it and then he realizes that what he's about to do will get him "five" (years in prison) The song progresses on with different scenarios and more years added up until he reaches one that will get him "life" This is a great song. I definately would recommend this cd to everyone. Give Jeff a chance and you'll be hooked!

What's not to like? I am a big fan of Jeff Bates and enjoy his voice very much. My favorite song is "Long, Slow Kisses". It's just a great CD!!!!

i love easy transactions and this one was i paid and in 3 days i got it i bought it cos id heard this guy on the radio and wanted to hear more it was worth every penny and i love the fact that i didnt have to go out to get it. i would not hesitate to use this seller again because of the quality of the product the speed of delivery and the thank u i received with the cd. it always makes me feel good to know that someone that ive never met says thank you and u know they want u to come back again.

I LOVE THE FACT THAT HE IS FROM MISSISSIPPI, A GUY FROM HOME WHO MADE IT BIG. HE HAS LOTS OF GREAT VALUES, AND IS A WONDERFUL PERFORMER. I'VE SEEN HIM SEVERAL TIMES AND HE JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER. BEING FROM MISSISSIPPI MYSELF, I'M GLAD TO SEE A LOCAL BOY DO GOOD. HIS FIRST CD WAS FANTASTIC, SO I KNEW THIS ONE WOULD BE EVEN BETTER. AND I WAS RIGHT!

I first saw Jeff Bates two years ago as an opening act for Tracy Lawerence and immediatly fell in love with his deep, sexy voice. I bought his CD Rainbow Man and bought Leave the Light On and both CDs have songs that seem to tell personal stories about his life. I especially love the first track on Leave the Light On as it is "Long Slow Kisses" but done even better, more emotion and if possible, even sexier!!!

I have seen this man in concert many times and I have never been disapointed. What a voice, deep and rich. He is fantastic at what he does and he truly loves what he does.
