Learn at Home, Grade K by American Education (1999, Paperback)

I loved using these as a center in my classroom. I would put them in a sheet protector with a dry erase marker. The kids could do as many or few as their interest allowed. They even chose to do these during indoor recess!

I really likes the easy to follow format and thought the education was good. It was hard at times finding the suggested books to read, but I was able to make due. If that is hard for you, you might get frustrated. I would like to get more for my next children to do the same.

I really like that its all layed out for you. It tells you what books to get and has all of your lesson plans layed out. I dont like that it has sooo many books to get. You really have to put them on hold at the library weeks ahead of time to make sure you have them when you need them.

Subjects are well divided. Curriculum is laid out well. Projects outside of the book are recommended.

I started teaching my granddaughter out of this book and she can't get enough!She loves everything!It contains alphabet and numbers,along with finger plays etc.I highly recommend this book!I have homeschooled my son out of these books since first grade all these books are excellent!

I've been homeschooling for 6 years, and this will be the 3rd time using this book to home-school KG. I absolutely love this curriculum b/c everything is all together, arranged by day, has worksheets, tips, and books to request from the library. It is inexpensive and comprehensive. Whether starting out homeschooling, trying out new curriculum or just extra practice, I highly recommend this for KG.

This book is a very useful tool when homeschooling. All the worksheets come with it and tit eaches a great diversity of subjects to prepare the kids for school.
