Learn to Crochet in Just One Day
This is a wonderful crochet book that includes a good presentation of many basic stitches, and instructions for making seven different projects. The illustrations of the stitches and the written instructions that go along with each of the steps are very clear, concise and easy to follow and understand. The instructions for starting crochet pieces, making rows, and beginning rounds are really some of the best, much easier to follow than other crochet books. If you are looking for a crochet book with good diagrams of basic stitches, this is certainly one that you will like. The seven project instructions included in the book are:
1) A Women’s Sweater Vest
2) A Country Ripple Afghan
3) A Doll Dress and Hat
4) Sunshine and Ruffles Potholder
5) Ruffled Heart Potholder
6) A Mile-A-Minute Afghan
7) Baby Afghan and Baby Hat

) This is a great way to learn to crochet, and yes, I do believe it's possible to learn to crochet in one day using this book. It has all the basics needed to start to crochet immediately!
The only thing lacking would be a few more small projects would be nice as most beginners wouldn't want to start on an afghan right away.
