    We bought my 3 year old a Pixter.... my husband and I played with it first and thought it was not educational enough. Basically it was just a digital drawing pad... Little to high tech for a three year old... We returned it for the Leapster and we LOVE it and so does she!!! She takes it EVERYWHERE! and we have only bought 2 games and she is just so happy you would have thought we gave her a million dollars!! She does not get bored with it easily like most of the toys she has and it keeps her so quiet in the car! A+
