Leap Frog - Talking Words Factory 2: The Code Word Caper (DVD, 2004)

I have the whole set of dvds and they are wonderful my son started reading words after only watching these a few times!This one is his favorite (mine too)He is 5. I have him pick one everyday to watch and it is amazing how fast he picked it up!!!

I bought this product for my soon-to-be 2 year old. We recently bought her a Leap Frog Learning DVD and she loved it so much and so did I because it' so educational and fun to watch! Since I am such a busy mom, it was going to be hard to go into the stores and shop directly for these DVD's since they are presents for my daughter's upcoming birthday plus I was saving some money and on top of that saving money on gas to go to the store to buy this dvd, so I did good overall. The seller had great feedback, a great starting price so I decided to buy from that seller. I would buy again. I've had great experince shopping on ebay. It truly is convenient for me as a bust Mom!!! I love ebay!!!

Catchy songs, familiar characters, and learning fun. Finally learning videos my kids ASK to watch! Put away those boiring "flash card" videos. The Leap Frog videos make it fun and easy to remember. The videos help children learn grammer rules to help children LEARN to read, not just memorize what words look like. Start with the 1st dvd Talking Letters to help kids learn the sounds of letters, then Talking words helps children learn ho the sounds can be put together. Talking Words 2 helps children learn the grammer rules to sound out more complex words.

This movie is one of the best learning aids for my 4 year old. It is fast paced, fun and he learns with out even realizing it. One of my favorite things is when he sees letters he recognizes and quotes the DVD putting the letter into the correct context or saying a word that begins with that letter. The Leap Frog DVD's have made my son very comfortable with letters and numbers. This DVD is perfect for 3,4 & 5 year olds.

Engaging DVD, kept my Kindergarten daughter enthralled for the whole run time. She has been reading but it's great reinforcement and I believe she learned about "when two vowels do the walking, the first one does the talking" from a different angle. They don't teach handy shortcuts like that at school. I'm sure it would be fantastic for a pre-reader also... we just didn't hear about this dvd earlier!!

I loved the way the DVD relates to children by using leap frog. The DVD uses easy words that all children could practice with and catchy songs that are easy for children to learn. My son loved teh part that explained how sometimes the E is silent on some words and also about complex words. My son learned so much from it.

I bought this movie for my 2yr old daughter to learn her numbers! It is a great movie and she loves it!

We LOVE this DVD! My daughter has struggled with reading & this has helped her get over the hump. It is not like learning at all. The learning is disguised by a fun storyline & the children get to see what it's like for the Frogs to struggle too so they know they are not alone. My son, who is four has learned a lot from this too so he is now ahead of the game. I wish we had this two years ago. A+++++

Really like the leap frog products. Have several of them to use in daycare and this one is extremely good. Daycare kids love it. Has catchy songs to help them remember the rules to spells certain words. Great product, highly recommended.

If you want your kids to learn rules on silent vowels this is great. I would recommend for ages 2 and up. Never to early to teach your children to read and sound out words.

Leap Frog continues to bring joy to learning! My children just loved watching it. The Leap Frog series starts out by introducing letters and their sounds. The Talking Words Factory 2: The Code Word Caper continues with the series by introducing children to silent 'e's and other word rules.It is a neat way to get children excited about learning how to read.

These are wonderful, I rented them from the library as a friend suggested. My kids really respond to them and learn. I use them in the car now. Thanks so much.

Wonderful addition to the series. My boys 5 and 3, both love watching them!!!! !! The 5 year old is in his window and the 3 year old is picking things up. I'm very happy to find something that entertaining to keep them both interested. It's wonderful.

This item was purchased as a gift for my 4 year old nephew with the hopes that he will learn and enjoy it's education benefit. Thank you for offering this item at a most generous price.

my kids love all the leap frog videos and they teach well as both my kids were reading by ages 3 & 4

My daughter really enjoys watching letter factory videos. I feel that this dvd is a great learning tool for children.

We bought this to replace a scratched one we already had. Great for giving a visual on long and short vowel sounds showing silent "e" and two vowels together. Invaluable in encouraging them on the road to reading.

My children love watching the Leap Frog movies, and they learn from them, too! This particular movie is apparently no longer for sale in stores (as far as I could find, anyway), so I was delighted to find it on ebay. I recommend these movies to anyone I know with little children.
