My son LOVES Leaps' movies. I bought this for him because he's trying to figure out how to read. He can repeat back to me the rules about silent E and when two vowels are together in a word. Leap and his family are entertaining enough to keep him interested and he gets out of it what he's intended to. The math circus only goes up to 10 -- It's the same great quality as the word factory video -- but I wish it would go up to 20.

Effective & inexpensive learning while entertainingReview created: 04/20/08

) I work with students who have developmental disabilities. I find the leap frog reading and math series are entertaining enough to encourage kids to watch them repeatedly. By following these DVDs with instructional time and the repeated practice of watching the movie, the students are learning concepts that have their families amazed! Great, FUN teaching tool.
