Leadbetter Interactive Golf Series (DVD, 2005, 5-Disc Set)

Leadbetter's four disk instructional DVD's were fair, but not great. I was somewhat disappointed because I had already purchased several of his books (The Golf Swing and David Leadbetter 100% golf) and there was not much new in the DVD's that were not in the books. In fact, the books were much more comprehensive, The Golf Swing especially, which I think should be a classic. Although, I learn best from books, I am not a visual person. You might be different.
Leadbetter's Swing Analysis Software, which comes packaged with the instructional DVD's, was excellent. To use it, one needs a camcorder and after a trial with a borrowed camcorder, I was so impressed I went out and bought my own. By analyzing my swing, and comparing it to that of good guys simeltaneously, my swing has improved more in the past three weeks than it has over several years of reading books and taking live lessons. However, a little hint that will save you some $$$ -- the swing analysis software is merely a repackinging of the V1 software which you can download as freeware.
