
Beautiful book, but not beautifully appetizing.
I ordered this book to get ideas on using my Le Creuset cookware. It is a very beautiful book with large easy to read recipies and beautiful photography. I cannot, however, recommend it to anyone. The author is a French chef of a exclusive resturant in France. The recipies are very fancy items that no real person would eat, and some of the dishes looked downright unappetizing. I only saw maybe 2 dishes that I would have even considered trying. Maybe you have to be French to appreciate it, or have more sophisticated taste, but I do not think most Americans would like it. Le Creuset is great cookware, but I'll continue with simplier dishes of my own. Not recommended.
