Movie Description
Loosely based on the story of Charles d'Eon de Beaumont, a French spy and diplomat, the anime television series LE CHEVALIER D'EON takes place in 18th-century France. D'Eon de Beaumont has sworn to resolve the murder of his sister Lia, whose body was found in a coffin floating along the river Seine. In VOL.6: BETE NOIRE d'Eon's body switches back and forth between his male and female identities, and the chevalier encounters animated gargoyle corpses and a revolutionary group of alchemists.
