This is one of my all time favorites of the China Bayles mystery series being the hopeless romantic that I am. China is about to marry her long-time significant other, ex-lawman, recently recovered from paralysis hunk of burning love but murder and mayhem is weeding up the arrangements. China and best friend Ruby must work overtime to solve the crime and arrange a wedding fitting for two prominent citizens of Pecan Springs. Great reading. Nelda

) Susan Wittig Albert's writing, as always, is brilliant. The characters jump off the page and grab you, pulling you head first into their world. China Bayless and her friends are funny, touching, and always a delight to be around.
