Laura, the Movie
This is one of the finest examples of 1940's film noire ever made. The beautiful Gene Tierney is perfect as Laura, and your heart will ache for Dana Andrews, the tough cop who falls in love with the murdered Laura. Clifton Web and Vincent Price are superb in their supporting roles, both of them deliciously decadent, morally speaking. A twist of genius makes this movie rise a cut above others of the genre. I've seen it 5 times, and I will see it at least once a year.
