The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks (2009, Hardcover)

One of his best writings. Really enjoyed the story and felt like I was there observing in real life.. LOVE IT......

This is a great book. It is a little sad at times, but I really love it. I love Nicholas Sparks. He is a great writer!

It was for my daughter and she just love it! There was not a thing not to like about this book. I Bought the book because it was a autograph copy and she loves all of Nicholas Sparks Books.

Wonderfully put together. Nicholas Sparks does an amazing job by incorporating "modern/new age" love and the trial and tribulations the young people of today's generation are faced with and tempted with. As always a heart warming love story that will leave you breathless.

I love all Nicholas Sparks books as he is a great author.His books are being made into movies which really impresses me and they are very loving and kind books. I can't believe a man writes these books but he is excellent. I have read every single book he has written and love them all. Keep them coming Nicholas Sparks. Please don't ever quit writing your wonderful books as I enjoy them so very much.

It took several chapters for this book to become interesting. Perhaps, it was the subject. I do not consider it one of his best works. Being from NC, I do enjoy reading about life on our coast.

Mr. Sparks once again takes the reader inside the head and heart of the characters. He has a rare talent of insight, understanding and ability to tell a story in such a way you want it to go on after the last page. While his works deal with romantic love, parent and child love and sheer love of finding understanding in one's self, at all ages and stages of life, he never fails to connect with his reader while entertaining at the same time. This latest book does not disappoint.

As alwyas Mr. Sparks delights with his novels. I have all the collection from his books and I will continue collecting them. Awsome writter. Thanks

I love Nicholas Sparks' books. Though my favorite will always be A Walk to Rememeber, this book is a close second. Great writing, holds your attention, and like all his books it tugs on your heartstrings! I can't wait to see the movie in April!

I just love Nicholas Sparks and have read all of his books. This in the top 2 that he has written. He is just an awesome writer. I can't wait for another book to come out of his. I cried the most I have ever cried in a book. I think it hit home with me and brought out a lot of hidden emotions. He is just the best. 3 Weeks with my Brother was his best and this was the 2nd best. He is so real.

Sweet book. Nobody has sex in it which makes it even better. It is amazing to see how a change can happen to a young girl when illness strikes in the family.

Another great book by Nicholas Sparks. I've read all of his books and have liked them all. They are easy to read and relate to the eastern North Carolina area that I live.

I have read all of this author's books. I bought this book because it was the lastest one by him. I have not read it yet but I'm sure it will be excellent reading.

I usually would give anything by author Sprark and excellent rating, but I found this book to be a bit odd, almost as if someone other than Mr. Sparks wrote it. It is a long, too long, story, and it does not take you where you want to go as quickly as the reader wants something to happen.

I won't be re-reading this one, but I have all of my other N. Sparks titles!

I normally read murder/mystery stories, so this was a change of pace for me. I'd only read one other Sparks title years ago, which I enjoyed. Friends of mine read everything that Sparks writes, so I decided to give his new book a try. I really liked it. A book has to catch my interest right away to get me to read it and this book does. The more I got into the story, the quicker I wanted to finish it to see how it ended. Yes, it was a tear jerker at the end; with Sparks excellent writing skills, I felt like I was part of the story. I have since passed the book onto friends to read and it will end up at our high school library for others to read once they're done. I highly recommend this book.
