I would recommend this book to anyone that is a fan of Patricia Cornwell. It will keep you guessing until the last page. It is a great read. I have most of her book either tape or paper back.

LAST PRECINCTI bought this book for a friend who is a Cornwall fan. The book lived up to the reputation of the author in every way. It was excellent.

Picking up where BLACK NOTICE leaves off, THE LAST PRECINCT finds Virginia medical examiner Kay Scarpetta under investigation for the murder of Chief of Police Diane Bray. As Scarpetta struggles to clear her name, two mutilated corpses are discovered by police. The murders bear all the hallmarks of the work of serial killer Jean Baptiste Chandonne. There's just one problem: Chandonne is in prison. It looks like Scarpetta has a copycat killer on her hands.
