The Last of the Mohicans. This a compelling story about a dieing breed of Indians. This movie is will bring tears to your eyes for sure.

I am a new fan of Wes Studi who played Magua. The cliff scene when Alice decides to jump to her death rather than go with him after he has killed Uncas is one of the most compelling scenes I've ever seen. So much is said in that one scene without a word spoken. I bought this movie solely because of his performance.

Great movie; excellent characters. A unique perspective into American life, its independent people, colonial and frontier life, the beginning of the end of the English colonies in America and a love story. More movies need to be made of this genre to show the struggle that existed in the founding of America.

An excellent adventure movie. Highlights the beautiful scenery and waterfalls in the mountains of North Carolina. Action scenes are outstanding. You will love this movie.

Had this on VHS and finally broke down to buy the DVD; it is my favorite movie and will be cherished always.

This is one of the best movies ever. The scenery is beautiful and the story is not just a romance or adventure, it's both. Good for men and women.

I bought the DVD "Last of the Mohicans" because it is not easy to come by in any store. Great scenery and knowing that this was area-appropriate from where I live I was interested in having this piece of history in my collection.

There is a lot of exitement in this movie. You can learn about the British and the English at the time of the colonial war and the Indians too. Underneath all this war and fighting there is a terrific love story too.

did not have it but had to get it, Great movie a must have for your collection. you will not regret adding this to your collection or passing it off as a gift. for the length of the movie you will stay connected the entire time and wont want to look away

A very good movie about an era of american history which has not been contemplated so often in cinema.

I never received the DVD I paid for. The seller has not returned my emails asking for a refund. This is the first time this has happened to me.

Excellent movie, good plot and great acting. Russell Means put on one of his best performances. The dialog ranks higher than most because it was all "hearable" and distinct. All the characters were superb, including the "villian".
I highly recommend this movie to anyone interested in finding out more about Native Americans.

The seller did not have item available at time of ebay win. I was sent am email asking if I wanted to wait or have my money refunded. I waited a bit, but when item was still unavailable I requested a refund. Communication was great, but it would be nicer to have the item purchased.

This is another VHS Tape movie that I am replacing with the DVD version. The DVD version that I received seemed a little brighter/clearer that the tape, but it left out a mournful song that the tape contained. The absence of this song was really missed by us.

I loved everything about this movie. The acting, scenery and the story were excellent. The unspoken bond between Uncas and the lead actress' sister was superb. Eric Schweig is one of my favorite native American actors along with Graham Greene. The only disappointment was that the dvd did not have any special features on it as regards to the making of the movie as I had visited the area in where it was filmed and it is breathtaking.
