This is a great movie. Had to have it. Acting, scenery, cinematography is all great. And of course great adaptation of the classic novel. Seller shipped promptly after payment. Would do business with seller again.

Great romanticized version of an American classic novel
Review created: 02/18/08

Daniel Day-Lewis' best performance for fans of the historical romance genre. Moving rendition of an American classic featuring Madeline Stowe and displaying incredibly beautiful mountain scenery. A must-see for any lover of American history!

The Last of the Mohicans (1999, DVD)

This DVD replaced the VHS video purchased in 2000. Video became worn out from watching the movie over and over again. What can I say, Danial Day Lewis is hot. Excellent period piece which shows the interactions between the settlers, Native Americans, British and French during the early stages of our country.

  A Classic!
Review created: 09/27/06

This is an excellent adaptation of James Fenimore Cooper's novel. The cinematograhy is outstanding, the battle scenes realistic, the costuming authentic. Riveting from the opening scene and not to be missed. Be aware that some of the battle seems are quite bloody.

  Husband's Favorite
Review created: 06/27/06

This is my husband's absolute favorite movie in the entire world. I wasn't all that impressed, and only half paid attention to the characters, who often looked alike to me. He assures me it's a great movie though. A classic if nothing else.
