The Last Mimzy (DVD, 2007, Widescreen)

This movie is fun & entertaining for kids & adults. It engages you in thought while it spins an amazing story. Very well done. You will love it.

Excellent movie !!! Special effects are very good !!! The story line is easy to follow. The reference to Lewis Carroll's poem "The Jabberwocky" is a clever way to explain the name of the stuffed rabbit and the "looking glass" from Alice in Wonderland made the story come together. An excellent movie for children to watch!!!!

the content of the movie is based upon a knowledge we don't currently understand but that does exist. i have watched it at least 40 times. and will watch another 40. this should be required veiwing to help us all understand the mysteries of our universe. it may be considered fictional but i would like to think of it as a new reality. the laws of physics as we know, are changing. there are many new realities that need investigating. such as presented in the movie. i strongly recommend this movie. it will make you think.

We loved this movie and we are looking for the DVD that includes the 9" Mimzy doll. Wal-Mart sold them when they first came out but we can't find them anymore. ;( If anyone can help, please let us know: themains87@numail.org

This was a cute movie. My whole family enjoyed watching it. It was very imaginative. I would reccomend it to others.

Missed this in the movies. Sounded pretty good and thats why I bought it. and it was very good. A little far out, but enjoyed it. Got a good price and quick delivery

This film will be a family classic. The storyline is timeless. It is genuine "feel good" film which shows that each child has a special gift and the merits of child working together. There is also the supportiveness of the parents towards their child and most especially the love between the brother and sister and their faith in the unknown.

The Last Mimzy is one of those awesome, charming family films that pop up once in a while that makes you young again. A nice fantasy component combined with a realistic family makes for a great film!!!

I tride to find this movie locally but was unable to. I was very happy to find it at a Canadian store for a fair price and the shipping was very fast!

This is the type of movie where parents can sit down with their young children and relax. Even though it contains several possible meassages, none of them were powerful enough to distract from the basic storyline. Hints throughout leed to the revelation that humans need each other and they have more potential then the sum of their poccessions. You have to be careful though, the incomplete business of the script makes it hard to read. Don't expect to understand it, or for it to make any real sense. The writers wrote it for young children using a level of understanding that was distinctly that of young children.

Vary good movie always wanted this movie nothing bad about this movie.I would love to see stuff about the Future and this movie has it.

More than a kids' film--
Good thinking zones, entertaining with little plot twists.
Adults are lifelike, incredulous at the happenings, and kids act like kids.

I got this so that our grandchildren could watch it with us when they were here. They love it and so do we! It is a great movie for everyone.

This is a great family movie!! I usually rent or buy the kids a movie, put it in the dvd player and then start doing some other things around the house I've neglected. (Cleaning, laundry etc.) However this movie had me hooked the entire time and even had me thinking of it afterwards. I watched it again and caught many things I'd missed the first time through. This is definetley a movie we will be keeping within reach.....my husband even liked it!

took me awhile to rent it, and after i did .... i couldn't believe all the bad
movies i saw to get to this one. it is good for kids but also the parents will
enjoy it as well. the story is very good. i loved it.

this is a great movie. the special effects are awesome. the story moves at a rapid pace so intrest is keen. it is a wonderful and might i add a plausible scenario where the future reaches back for help from the past. all actors involved do a superb job. i loved the children. i had to have this movie as a part of my video library.

One of the best fantasies out there. Will be enjoyed by children and adults alike. The children (actors) are wonderful and captivating. I consider this a definite "feel good" movie. No profanity, gratuitous sex, and no violence. Your kids will get a kick out of it, just make sure to explain what fantasy is.
