If you enjoy gardening and would like to try a new natural approach, you should buy this book, Lasagna Gardening by Patricia Lanza. I ordered it and I am so pleased with it. Very helpful and an easy way to start gardening without harmful chemicals. You don't have to buy a bunch of expensive products.

I'll never look at my yard the same again!
) There is such a "have a good time & just try it" attitude. Other gardening books I've read make all things sound so hard & must be exact in what is put in a garden or compost. Not so here. It all sounds so easy that I will never look at my back yard the same. Now all I can picture are beds of beautiful flowers & foods. I'm already starting to apply much of what I learned. This fall I plan to set up a true "Lasagna Garden". I see no way it will fail! Read & enjoy!

Innovative Awesome Gardening System
) I used this method for two years and have bounteous results. I had to water it less, no fertilizer and no weeds. The most labor is required in the spring, but that's when I'm motivated to do it. I like just going out and picking the rest of the season rather than picking off bugs, weeding and all the other gardening chores that disappear with Lasagna Gardening. Highly recommend!

Wonderful book for gardening.We recently bought our first home and I have huge plans for my lawn. I'm watching the seasons for the first year to see what plants are best in certain areas. I already know where I want to put things so this book is wonderful for beginning to ready the soil. We have orange (hard) clay so I bought this book to help to enrich the soil and make it livable for my plants. We live in a country club area and my eventual aim is to have my yard voted yard of the month. This book is helping me to do that.
