Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (DVD, 2001, Sensormatic)

Although much more could have been done with this film like more locations and more action, 'Tomb Raider' is entertaining enough to watch at least once. Jolie is great in the shoes of Lara Croft but it seems too much of the movie is spent elsewhere besides where it should be, in action sequences. Fans of the video game will probably be a little disappointed but this is an entertaining film nonetheless with a fun cast of characters and some nice locations. Rent before you Buy. 3.5/5

This movie is excellent! Angelina Jolie does a fantastic job at playing Lara Croft.

The movie begins with Lara Croft finding a mysterious clock (which holds an ancient artifact) in her home, and begins trying to figure out what it may be. Unfortunately for her some mercenaries break into her home and manage to steal the ancient artifact. Lara travels to various locations to try to get it back. As more problems arise she begins to find out about the secret life of her deceased father, and a secretive group called the Illuminati (of which her father was part of).

A definite must have for any Lara Croft fan.

She lives the life of luxury that most of us dream about. But she also dabbles in archeology, motorcycles, horses, exploring wonderful, far away places and figuring out every clue! I realize most of this is not true and will never happen, but I love getting lost in the moment. If there is ever another Tomb Raider movie, I will be in line.

This is an active and interesting movie with good actors and actesses. If you like treasure hunts and races to see who finds them first than this is for you.

Angelina plays this roll so well, she is Lara Croft! This fast moving, action packed adventure is well worth having. The problem solving is great as she uncovers the next step. The scenes are so awesome. You definitely want this movie in your collection.

Bought the DVD because I like Angelina and I love the movie. It is a movie I enjoy watching more than just once and I didn't have a copy of the movie. I got a good deal on the price, too. Beat buying it at full retail price.

I like going on Ebay and buy things, that coust more in stores, and it's more fun to go shopping on Ebay because they have everything. Ebay makes it fast for you to find theing your lokking for. You also can sell things on Ebay, you can't go to a store and sell your thing, but on ebay you can. This item i bought cousts alot more in a store then i got on Ebay.

This instantly became a favorite movie for me even BEFORE it was released in theatres on June 15th, 2001. I was not disappointed with it and I enjoyed it enough that I bought both editions on VHS and all the books pertaining to the movie. This was the icing on the cake!

Great movie alot of action and shows how a girl can kick butt. i decided to buy it because i love all of Angelina Movies

I was seeking movies on DVD (widescreen). I believe with the current economy that the blue-ray and HD movies are going to struggle due to their much higher prices. I also believe that the HD/Blueray format will not become the format of choice. I've viewed all of the formats, DVD, DVDHD, BlueRay DVD and have to admit that the difference in them is similar to the difference between bias tape and metal tape in the 80's, and you all seen what happened to them.

The movie itself is pretty good, a combination of Indiana Jones and James Bond wrapped up inside a really attractive package played by Angelina Jolie. Lara Croft is in essence an adventurer of the first degree.

As far as the seller is concerned, never again. Received the item and left feedback 5 days ago and have not yet received feedback in return. Attention to detail is important to me, and this seller failed miserably

I love this product. It is a very good Angelina Jolie movie before Mr. and Mrs. Smith came out. Very good movie. I highly recommend it to anyone who is even the slightest bit into Angelina Jolie.

The DVD was in excellant condition I really enjoy this movie.But I think it's ridiculous that we have to write a full article about it.

The action never ceases. Special effects are great. Angelina is fun to look at. This movie will not go down with the great ones of all time but it is not offensive and a bit of fun. I would recommend it and am happy to have it in my library.

It's in good condition played well and not sure what else to say but it wants 100 characters to be able to submit the review so yeah

Atlantis????? or some other underworld treasure??? that's where this one starts out and it really doesn't stop. Some small inoncuous object that no other would pick up begins a journey. And everyone seems to die but Lara... .luck or coincidence?

A fast moving action / adventure with lots of bullets and fighting.
Faniciful fighting sequences in many venues.

I bought it because I wanted it on dvd. I got it and as always it's awesome!!! The power-packed action is incredible. And it gives you a thrill to wonder what it would be like to be a super-hero. If you don't have it, you should get it. Not only is Angelina Jolee drop-dead gorgeous, she's also one of the best actresses out there. You won't be disappointed.
