I had originally purchased this amp to power two small 400 watt max subs. The amp is rated at 2x400 watts. NOT EVEN CLOSE. In all reality, this bottom of the line amp only puts out a mere 35 watts (rms) per channel. Even bridged, running to one speaker, (4 ohm, the amp does not support 2-ohm mono operation), it was still very weak. Why an amp like this has bass boost control and low pass filter is beyond me, I have found it is only suitable for running some small door speakers. I would say steer clear of the viberant series, if you must buy Lanzar, save your money up and buy Opti-drive.

it sounds good on planet audio 12,s it can hold its own it can push some 15,s but not the big boys it just isnt enough but other than that it is a good amp but it ant no old lanzar 2500 optidrive i have that hooked up to my 15's and that amp is bad off the wall bass
