Bridged Ohm Rating Confuses Me.

Hi, as the title says, I have no clue about how to bridge this amp without cutting ohms in half(down to 2-ohm), unless I wire the coils in serial which will go back to 4-ohms, but then wouldn't it be back to just 2,000 watts max? Or does it detect the serial wiring and automatically adjust it's output to 4,000 watts max? I have 2 SVC subs, i bridged them from the bridge ports running a set of wires to each sub, normally that would be 1-ohm setup, undid a sub and left one attached, so that'd be 2-ohm correct? I'm confused as to how I'm supposed to get 4 ohms bridged out of a 4-ohm amp, and still not be maxxing it to just 2,000 watts. Other than that, it's an excellent performing amp, it pushes my 2 18"s perfectly at only 70% power. I notice no distortion or fading. I've been hooking up and running systems for 14yrs and other than the 4-ohms bridged amp, I've never had anything boggle me. Nor have I listened to a better amp, there is NO cooling issue, even bridged to what i think is 2-ohms(bridged to an SVC sub). Good luck to anyone who buys one of these, the blue lights are bright for being just a few dials, good thing my new 1.5 din radio has bright EQ's that drown out the blue from lights....of course night-time driving is interesting, at times I think there's a cop behind me cause of the radio EQ lights jumping....they light up inside of truck, and flicker just like a highway patrol, lol. I'm satisfied with my setup, tho, I wouldn't say anything bad about amp, except my lack of knowledge dealing with the 4ohms unbridged at 2,000watt max being bridged to 4ohms to get 4,000watt max. Odd.
