Product Description
Once network cabling has been installed in a building, it is very difficult and expensive to change. While this cabling remains the same, growing organizations can start to use computer devices with different media types. The resulting incompatibility raises issues in connecting to the network. Transceivers and converters play an important role in keeping the cost of network connectivity low. Lantronix offers LTX-2A thin coax (10Base2) mini transceiver. It connects to standard AUI port on a host/device and allows connection to thin coax topology. LTX-2A can also be used in conjunction with ETS/EPS servers and other AUI interface products.
