If you own 1 rental property or 100 then this book is for you. In my experience there are only 2 kinds of landlords, "Rich ones" and "broke ones". The difference between the 2 is not the properties they own or the amount of money they have but their property management, strategies and systems.
Jeffrey Taylor is the master of this. I heard this man speak several years ago and he is a genious. He eliminates all of the myths of landlording, leases, rental rates, etc.... He will show you how to trun your rental property from a a cash drain to a cash cow that you will never want to sell because you are making too much money. I have implemented only a small percentage of his suggestions and I have already seen lower vacancy rates, higher tenant loyalty and higher rentals. Thank you Jeffrey Taylor.

This book is on the must read list for all of my students that I mentor. Their is NOBODY that defines the pure art of landlording the way that Jeffrey Taylor does.
If you have ever heard him speak in real life then you will know what I mean. However whether you have heard him in real life or not this book is a MUST read. If you just follow his simple ideas in this book you will save 10s' of thousands of dollars over your lifetime as a property manager.

I think this book will prove to be an invaluable asset to us as we endevor on our journey to landlording. This book has a wealth of information and we found it to be a very useful tool in our effort to learn about the pitfalls of becomming a landlord. It gives a different approach to traditional landlording and one that sounds like it will be beneficial to the landlord as well as the tenant (resident). I would really recommend this book to anyone considering getting into the landlording business, or even to those that are already in the business but have become frustrated with the old methods. PS there is good information in here on how to run checks for credit and past evictions to help you screen your prospective future tenants.
