Land of the Lost (DVD, 2009)

Will Ferrell takes a poke at the old Television series "Land of the Lost" in this 2009 DVD.

Ferrell is Dr. Rick Marshall who everyone considers a crack pot because he thinks going back in time can save humanity. Rich meets Holly (Anna Friel) an avid follower of his who believes that his work is great. Holly talks Rick into completing his time travel devise and they are hurled back in time to find love and adventure.

Only Will Ferrell can put his own mark on a classic like this one. He is funny and crude at the same time. Those who like his type of humor will love this movie and those who do not like his brand of humor will hate the movie.

So depending on your own like or dislike of Will Ferrell decide if you want to watch the movie.

Personally I loved it. It had me laughing so hard I had to stop the movie and take a break.

Rated PG-13 for some crude humor and sexual conduct. (Would you expect any less from Ferrell?)

Get it, you will not be disappointed.

If you enjoy Will Farrel, you will enjoy this movie. There are some laugh out loud moments. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and I think you will too.

If your thinking this movie is for your small children forget it! My children are 6 and 8 and while they liked what little you see of dinosaurs...there just a little too much sexual jokes and positioning that I would not make them watch this alone. Land of The Lost, was a book I enjoyed from childhood- but if not for the dinosaurs, this is way off base!

Furthermore, the movie is sooooo slow....and when it came to a conclusion you'd be thinking....really? thats it? I would even think the supporting actors were terrible.

*Yawns*.....I hate doing reviews, but if the movies absolutely bomb, well then I must get it out there.
