The Lair (DVD, 2007, 2-Disc Set)

This is a spin off series from Dante's Cover, but not nearly as good as the series from which it came. Worth your time, however, if you are a collector.

In this day and age of still too little content worth watching this is great! Production is still better that Dante's Cove. This a great DVD to watch whenever. The actors are great and rarely are the performances forced. I definitely want to see the next season but it is a shame network television doesn't step things up to reflect all of there audience. Then again I wouldn't be writing this review if everyone had access to good, clean (well, as clean you can get with semi-clad hot guys), queer horror!

I wasn't expecting much, but this was a fun watch. The plot was good, the actors good (special credits go to Frank-the handyman at the Lair and the head of police Trout-it's Colton Ford of XXX fame-need I say more). Each of characters are well developed, with plots and subplots. The writers took the idea of Oscar Wilde's "A Picture of Dorian Grey" and made it part of the 21st century with sex and horror. The sex scenes (and there is plenty of soft core action) actually bring to life more of the personalities of the characters. And there is even a sense of humor about it all. One boyfriend gets number 6 when he goes to the Lair and the other one gets 9. Making a pair (69). This was a short series but well done.

Good communication and customer service. We had an issue with the product not arriving but they took care of it right away. My only recommendation is to switch shipping to a traceable system

Fast transaction, never received the item though. Don't think that I would purchase from this seller again as I never received the item.

I purchased The Lair because of the cover and the storyline. I have always been fascinated with vampire movies, and this one had a gay twist to it. It was mildly entertaining, and unfortunately the series must be on a low budget. The series concept has great potential, but it is lacking in actor strength and prop setting. A highlight is there are some very hot men in the series. A great idea guys, but please invest in what you are doing!
